NSX Ventures LLC ("NSX," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect when you visit nsxdistribution.com or place an order, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can exercise your rights over that data.
1. Who we are
NSX Ventures LLC is a limited liability company registered with the New York State Department of State (DOS ID 7924986) operating the website at nsxdistribution.com and the email address purchase@nsxdistribution.com. Our principal office is at 17350 State Hwy 249, #220, Houston, TX 77064, United States. For any privacy question, write to that email or address.
2. Information we collect
We only collect the information we need to run the store and serve you. Specifically:
- Order information — shipping address, billing address, items ordered, order total. Used to fulfill and support your order.
- Contact information — your name, email address, and (optionally) phone number when you check out, contact us, or subscribe to our newsletter.
- Payment information — we do not collect any payment, card, or banking information on this website. Every order is paid by cash on delivery. The only money-related fact we record is the order total your courier was instructed to collect.
- Communications — when you email or use a form, we keep the message so we can answer it and refer back to it if you contact us again.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, and approximate location (city/state/country) inferred from IP. Used to keep the site secure, prevent fraud, and improve usability.
- Cookies & local storage — used to keep your shopping cart populated across page loads, remember your theme preference, and (if you opt in) measure aggregate site usage. See section 6.
3. How we use your information
We use the data we collect for these and only these purposes:
- To process, ship, and support your orders.
- To respond to your emails and form submissions.
- To send transactional email (order confirmations, shipping updates, return labels).
- To send marketing email only if you've subscribed to our newsletter, and only until you unsubscribe (every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link).
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- To comply with our legal obligations (tax reporting, sales-tax remittance, lawful subpoenas).
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with data brokers or advertising networks for cross-site behavioral advertising.
4. Who we share data with
We share data only with the service providers we need to run the store, and only the data they need to do their job:
- Our fulfillment partner — receives your name, shipping address, phone number, and the items in your order so they can deliver it and collect the cash payment.
- Shipping carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx) — receive your shipping address and email for delivery notifications.
- Our email service provider — used to send transactional and (opt-in) marketing email. Receives your name and email.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers — store the encrypted data that powers the site.
- Government and law enforcement — only in response to a valid legal request, and only what's strictly required.
Every provider is contractually bound to use your data only to provide their service to us, and to protect it with industry-standard safeguards.
5. How long we keep your data
- Order records — 7 years (US tax and accounting requirements).
- Contact form submissions — 24 months from last interaction.
- Newsletter subscribers — until you unsubscribe, after which we keep a hashed record of your address only to prevent accidental re-subscription.
- Server logs (IP, user agent) — 30 days, then aggregated or deleted.
6. Cookies and tracking
We use the minimum cookies needed to run the store:
- Essential — your shopping cart, your login session, your theme preference. These are first-party only and cannot be disabled.
- Analytics — we use a privacy-respecting analytics provider that does not use third-party cookies and does not build cross-site profiles. You can opt out anytime from your browser's Do Not Track setting, which we honor.
We do not use Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Google Ads remarketing tags, or any third-party advertising tracker.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights:
- Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate information.
- Deletion — ask us to delete your personal information, subject to legal-retention requirements (e.g., we must keep order records for tax purposes).
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Opt-out of marketing — unsubscribe from any marketing email at any time using the link in every message, or by emailing us.
- Non-discrimination — we will not deny service, charge different prices, or provide a different level of service if you exercise any of these rights.
To exercise any right, email purchase@nsxdistribution.com with the subject line "Privacy request." We'll verify your identity and respond within 30 days.
8. California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
California residents have the rights listed above. In the past 12 months we have collected the categories of data described in section 2 for the purposes described in section 3, and shared them with the providers described in section 4. We have not sold or shared personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
9. European Economic Area and UK residents (GDPR / UK GDPR)
If you are in the EEA or UK, our lawful bases for processing your data are: (a) performance of a contract for order processing; (b) legitimate interest for security, fraud prevention, and product improvement; (c) consent for marketing email; and (d) legal obligation for tax and compliance. You have the additional right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
10. Children
NSX is intended for buyers age 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, email us and we will delete it.
11. Security
We protect your data with HTTPS/TLS for all browser traffic, encrypted storage for sensitive records, scoped server access, and rate-limited API endpoints. Because we accept cash on delivery only, we never collect or store any card, bank, or payment-account information on the site. No system is perfectly secure, but we apply current industry standards and review our controls regularly.
12. International transfers
Our servers and most of our service providers are located in the United States. If you are outside the United States, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US under appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses where required).
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The "Effective" date at the top will reflect the latest version. Material changes will be announced by email to active subscribers and via a banner on the site for 30 days.
