Our standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive.
What we've done
- Semantic HTML throughout — headings, lists, buttons, and form controls use the correct elements so assistive technology can interpret them.
- Visible keyboard focus indicators on every interactive control.
- Color contrast ratios that meet or exceed AA in both light and dark themes.
- Alt text on every meaningful image; decorative images marked as such for screen readers.
- Form labels associated with every input.
- A "skip to content" landmark and consistent navigation across pages.
- Reduced-motion support — animations respect
prefers-reduced-motionand never auto-play sound. - Light/dark theme toggle for users who need a different background contrast.
Where we're still working
We know we're not perfect. Known gaps we're actively improving:
- Some marketing modules use background images that need higher-quality alt descriptions.
- The mini-cart drawer's keyboard tab order is being audited for trap-free navigation.
- Long product pages need a clearer in-page navigation aid for keyboard users.
Tell us when something doesn't work
If you hit a barrier on our site — a button you can't reach, a label that's missing, a color combination that's hard to read — please email purchase@nsxdistribution.com with the subject "Accessibility." Tell us the page, the issue, and (if you can) the device and assistive technology you're using. We respond within one business day and prioritize accessibility fixes ahead of most other work.
